Arrivals

We ask all clients to arrive 10 minutes before the start of any event. If you are delayed for any reason, please let me know via telephone +44 (0) 7922477297 (or email studio@floraluna.net as a last resort) as soon as you have a mobile reception. Please Do Not contact me via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram as I only monitor this occasionally and cannot respond promptly.

Payments and Attendance

Each attendee pay full price on every workshop, course or personal tuition session, whether using a camera or not. We do not allow clients to be accompanied by non-paying family or friends (except 2 x children under 11y old – please see that listing for more information). Even if you arrive late, we still finish at the original scheduled time. Due to sunset time, all Night Tours MUST start on time. Please ensure you have allowed enough travel time to be at the start location promptly.

Online Bookings and Payments

All tours, workshops and vouchers are to be booked and paid in advance via our secure online booking system managed by WooCommerce. We use https, which stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure, which is the secure version of HTTP – the protocol over which data is sent between your browser and the website that you are connected to. The ‘S’ at the end of HTTPS stands for ‘Secure’. This means all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted. This means that your financial details are totally secure.

Safety

All our events will involve a mix of public and private locations, roads, footpaths and the interior and exterior of buildings. While we will continuously endeavour to keep clients safe, clients agree to undertake any event at their own risk to themselves and their equipment. International clients must take extra care when crossing roads. All clients are expected to prepare for the weather with appropriate clothing and bring a drink and a snack.

Tours and Night Tours (Non-Instructional)

All tours are to be paid in advance. There are no refunds. Cancellation or Date transfer fees are as follows:
  • 2 weeks before – 50% of the total price must be paid
  • 1 day to 13 days before – 80% of the total price must be paid
  • On the day – 100% of the total price must be paid
You are able to reschedule your class up to 3 times within a 24-month period. A confirmation email with instructions will be sent once payment is received. This is to be presented on the day of the tour. Tours are not transferable to another person without accorded permission. All attendees pay full price whether using a camera or not. Only children under 11 years old are free of charge (maximum 2 per family). Each attendee pays full price on every tour, workshop or personal tuition session, whether using a camera or not. Tour Policy

All tours are held in rain, sunshine, cloud and snow. We do not postpone tours unless the weather is really hazardous. We would then re-arrange an alternate date/time for the tour to suit both clients and me. Or you would then have a credit to be used on another tour or product.

Tripod Hire

You will only need a tripod for Advanced & Night Photography Course, or Low Level Light & Night Workshops If you don’t have a sturdy tripod that rises above 140cm before extending the centre pole, then you can hire one of ours for an extra £7 for the night. The tripod will be hired to you in good working condition. If clients break or lose our tripod or any parts of it, you agree to be liable for repair (if possible) or replacement costs up to an additional £120, whichever is the lesser fee.

Photography Workshops and Courses (Instructional)

All courses and workshops are to be paid in advance. Once payment is received a confirmation email with instructions will be sent.

Cancellations

Cancellations are allowed, minus a fee. The fee is dependent on notice given.

Beginner Course & Night Photography Course

If you cancel your place more than 14 days before the event, a £90 fee applies per person. Cancellation fee of £120 applies per person if cancelled 4 – 14 days before the scheduled date. Cancellation fee of £160 applies per person if cancelled less than 1-4 days before the scheduled date. No refunds are available if cancelled on the day of the event.

Christmas and Low Level Light & Night Workshops

If you cancel your place more than 14 days before the event, a £70 fee applies per person. Cancellation fee of £90 applies per person if cancelled 4 – 14 days before the scheduled date. Cancellation fee of £110 applies per person if cancelled 1-3 days before the scheduled date. No refunds are available if cancelled on the day of the event.

Minimum Client Numbers

Our Beginner Classes do not require a minimum of clients. However, please bear in mind, we often receive late bookings up to 2 days before the events, so we wouldn’t postpone the events unnecessarily. If you need to make advance travel arrangements please let us know before booking a specific date so we can assist you with any information.

Event Cancellation Policy

Notice of Cancellation

In the event of us cancelling the event as much notice as possible will be given to the client. We will endeavour to provide a suitable substitute. The is no refund and you will be able to pick another date.

Weather Policy

This tour is held in all weather and we would only cancel if the weather is hazardous. We will endeavour to cover as many of the locations as possible. However London is a dynamic city and some locations may not be available every day, so we will visit an alternative location.

Gift Vouchers

Voucher Delivery

Gift Vouchers /Cards will be personalised and sent as an email attachment to the purchaser within 24 hours of purchase. This can be forwarded or downloaded and printed for the recipient.

Refund and Transfer Policy

Gift Vouchers are not refundable or transferable to another recipient and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Voucher Upgrades

Voucher upgrades are available. To use your voucher against a different or higher-priced event, please pay the difference in value when redeeming the voucher.
