Is it a form of Art for you?

– Yes, because it’s easier to do this since I’ve not been able to draw because I’m always shaking.

What does your family think about it?

– It’s normal for me to walk around covered in blood sometimes. They don’t say anything..

The national care system refused Jak’s case.

Medications are considered enough to boost the chemical balance on his brain and fill the lack of serotonin. In mental health that’s not always the case.

It will not go away, however.

Is it a form of Art for you?

– Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t.

What does your family think about it?

– They hate me doing it. My sister thinks it’s for attention sometimes, I don’t know if she still thinks that now. But for my mum I think she likes to pretend that it doesn’t exist.

I don’t get this huge sense of euphoria, normally I end up feeling disappointed when I’ve done it because I feel like I haven’t done a good enough job. It stops me from doing a lot of things. It keeps me in bed most of the time. Like it stops me from forming proper relationships and stuff like that. It’s brutal. Some medications they could have put me on that would actually help me get turned down because they didn’t have the funding for them.

People and Environment

Discover Hidden Realities.

In today’s world, our interaction with the environment is often filtered by a desire to present a flawless appearance. The trend of “discovery” is simply a way to fit into the perceived norms.

CoveredToDISCONNECT offers a visually stunning analysis of the overlooked spaces in our lives, seen through a filter that masks the true reality. Our connection to the environment has become so detached, it is often difficult to see the truth behind the facade.
